nzcarnerd Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 I think part of the idea was that when a potential fare was waiting on the side of the street looking for a cab these were 'different' enough to be easily distinguished from the regular cars that 'all looked the same' - especially to a non-car person.
