JamesR
It would be interesting to know how Chrysler worked its "Spring Special" promotion program. For example, what exact features it included and what brands it applied to. Maybe some Mopar guys here know. I'm curious because my '55 Chrysler Windsor was a Spring Special, but I found out that Chrysler didn't offer the promotion in '56. But here I see it was available again here on a Dodge in '58. Kind of random, maybe? Or an employed only during lagging sales? I got the impression on my Chrysler that the most conspicuous feature of the promotion was the blue(ish) and white two tone paint scheme, which I don't think varied (but I could be wrong.) I wonder if the Dodge promotion was also color specific.
John S.
Chrysler would list cars as "Spring Specials" to boost sales. I remember the 1958 Savoy was listed as a Silver Special, they were painted Silver with White roof, and special side trim.

John S.
That is such a nicely preserved car. Even in a 4 door Coronet sedan, , it has tons of appeal.

The 55er
Price increase might be the new "Carlisle" price. Seller raised it just in time for a possible trip to the Fairgrounds next week. A Spring Special for Spring Carlisle.

The 55er
IMO the seller should get that dull rose metallic trunk & fin paint refinished, spend the $20 it takes to replace the broken backup light lens then drop the price some more.
