Beautiful rare 1968 Lincoln Continental
-Garaged kept and major restorations done
-New Brakes
-Rebuilt motor
-Rebuilt Transmission
-New gas tank
-New Exhaust
-New Whitewall tires
-Exterior paint-job/and bodywork
Runs like a top and has over the asking price in repairs and restorations. Final details dialed in by Colonial Auto Center in Charlottesville.
Cons:
-Some loose trim around the vehicle
-The Switches were rebuilt but passenger side window does not work (needs tlc)
-Driver Seat electronics do not seem to work
-Paint Job was not done at the highest caliber and if you were going for perfect, perhaps some touch up work along
edges and another coat
This car was garaged and driven lightly during its life. Once restored it has been rarely driven but drives well with solid motor and transmission. Interior is pretty nice for its age. If you are looking for perfect, you will need to invest some time for some tlc on this vehicle, but mechanically it runs well and has had a lot invested into it.
If you are a purist you could leave as is and dial in some details to keep it at its original glory...or perhaps turn its raw power and size into the hot rod of your dreams
