So as of now, I know it has the camshaft sensor error code and it has a leak somewhere that is letting water into the cubby behind the passenger seat. The performance of the car seems fine I just don't want the stress or have the mechanical knowledge to even want to attempt to maintain or put many miles on it.

I had a coupe that had that exact same water symptom and it was the rear window seal which is molded to the glass

Does that require a rear window replacement or is there a way to re-seal the original window?

You could first try just adding silicone sealant... to do a good job you would probably need to remove the rear inside panels.

Like the windshield, the rear window has a black plastic surround that is not considered replaceable.

With the proper tools you can remove the window and not damage the black plastic surround..

so it might be worth trying the silicone.
