Ground
So I bought this and I think I'm in a little over my head cost of maintenance-wise. I'd be willing to let it go for what I paid for it 2,200. The car looks good cosmetically and just needs a little love it has 90,000 miles on it. Barney Eaton
I think you need to be a little more specific on what the car needs. If the car need $1500 in repairs then the buyer has $3,700 in it. Is it a $3700 car?
Ground
So as of now, I know it has the camshaft sensor error code and it has a leak somewhere that is letting water into the cubby behind the passenger seat. The performance of the car seems fine I just don't want the stress or have the mechanical knowledge to even want to attempt to maintain or put many miles on it. Ground
There doesn't appear to be any damage from this leak so I imagine it was kept under a shelter before I bought it.
Y-JobFan
I had a coupe that had that exact same water symptom and it was the rear window seal which is molded to the glass

Barney Eaton
You could first try just adding silicone sealant... to do a good job you would probably need to remove the rear inside panels. Like the windshield, the rear window has a black plastic surround that is not considered replaceable. With the proper tools you can remove the window and not damage the black plastic surround.. so it might be worth trying the silicone.
