The Caponemobile
I need to replace the left front brake line to the wheel master cylinder. I assume that both left and right lines are the same, and I want to replace both although only the left has started to "weep." These are Lockheed brake parts, and I was able to buy a master cylinder kit for that car "off the shelf" a few months ago. I am guessing that the hoses I need are also still stock, but I have no idea what the stock or I.D. number might be. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. ply33
Got an original Chrysler parts book to look up the number? For 1933 Plymouth the original Chrysler part number was 391951 which crosses into NAPA UP 36559 The 1928 through 1930 Plymouths used part 303102. Sorry, don’t have a cross reference for that one. The Caponemobile
Thanks ply 33 for your reply. I will see what i can develop from your information. I suspect that most of those hoses are the same. I will report what develops. John Losch
hwellens
The model 77 uses part number 303102. The Wagner part number is FC-1098 if that helps (from a 1939 parts book). All 3 hoses on the car are the same. Edited February 24, 2021 by hwellens Add data (see edit history)
The Caponemobile
To hwellen's, thanks for the information about my brake hoses. With those numbers and the description I should have no trouble finding replacements. I appreciate your time and effort. John Losch
