76 Cadlillac Eldorado Convertible with Huggy Bear Treatment

Recommended Posts

I'm only posting this because I have made reference to what my dad did to our 69 Eldorado when I was a kid and I finally found somebody else that did the same thing.   He added the chrome hood peak treatment,  a big ornament and wide whites.

Up for your consideration is a "Firethorn Metallic" 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Fuel injected convertible with only 14,139 miles! This is one of the finest example to exist in original condition, with original paint and interior. This is one of less then 1000 Cadillac Eldorado 500c.i. Fuel Injected convertibles produced from the factory in 1976. This is a two owner car and was owned by the original owner for Forty Three years before selling to his good friend in 2018. The car was sold new on December 19th 1975 at McCoy Auto Company INC. out of Vancouver Washington with a MSRP of $13,590.00 . The original owner is L. Putman out of Great Falls Oregon and the original window sticker, warranty card, bill of sale, Salesman business card, pre delivery inspection papers, original broad cast sheet, owner's manual, Cadillac dealer interior sample book and other paper work at the time of sale. Finished in arguably the most stunning color combination offered "Firethorn Metallic" exterior with "Antique Dark Firethorn" interior. This car is in original condition, with original paint, original interior and the original bronze primer on the floor pans. This is truly a time capsule and would make a excellent addition to any collection, museum or astute buyer.

It was available aftermarket.  Often a repro 1941 style hood ornament added too.  No Superfly headlights?

This is the ornament my dad had on his car.   No headlights though.

Just a chrome grille is not so bad. I saw the headline and figured it would be something truly awful:
