Accelerator

Recommended Posts

Hello Battaglia, can you help us with more information?  Accelerators may have been mounted on wood floor boards in several different ways depending on the year and model of car.  Information as to the specific year and model you are working on would be helpful.

This metal plate with insulator ring fits mounts to the toe board and surrounds the

gear shift housing.  The base of the accelerator pedal is pinned to the bracket ears

in the red circle.

If you look closely in this picture you can see the accelerator linnkage

end collar.  A second thru pin connects the top of the pedal to the

linkage end collar the arrow points to.
