Accelerators may have been mounted on wood floor boards in several different ways depending on the year and model of car. Str8-8-Dave Posted February 18, 2021 Share Posted February 18, 2021 (edited) 1931... This metal plate with insulator ring fits mounts to the toe board and surrounds the gear shift housing. The base of the accelerator pedal is pinned to the bracket ears in the red circle. Here it is in the car. If you look closely in this picture you can see the accelerator linnkage end collar. A second thru pin connects the top of the pedal to the linkage end collar the arrow points to. Here is the pedal in the car.
