Chevy 350 identification

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can identify this engine. Casting number 3970010, the engine was decked so some of the codes are gone but it has a possible partial of 11C122113 on the passenger side front. It also has a clock stamping on the passenger side above the oil pan plus a stamp of D-A-N with an arrow pointing at the D. Finally it has a stamped box with an M just to the side of the casting number. See attached photos. Thanks

3970010 is 69-80 350

11C122113 would be a 1971 motor from the Southgate, CA assembly plant

Thanks for the info. Any idea on vehicle 2 bolt - 4 bolt or information on the “M” or the clock stamp?

These castings could have been either two bolt or four bolt. The only way to tell is to pull the pan.  Not sure about the M. There should be an engine code stamped on the deck surface in front of the RH cylinder head next to the VIN derivative that will tell you more.

Thanks Mark. I looked at what’s left of the stamp behind the alternator on the  block again and I think it is 10J instead of 11C

Can someone please help me identify my Chevy 350 engine casting number 3970010 suffix code V0424TDR partial VIN number C8S191871 I can't find any information anywhere any help would be much appreciated thank you very much have a good evening :-)
