stakeside
My 29 DB truck has a name plate located on rear cross member. Is this plate the same as the plates that were on later model truck hoods? If some has a decent photo I could have a new one made.
stakeside
Is this the correct plate?
30DodgePanel
yes, although I am not sure which font is correct. Did they use the same font as the Graham Brothers trucks or is the artist illustration correct? measurement is 16" x 2 1/16" on mine with four corner rivets and one center rivet mine is so rusted I can't make out the letters though... stakeside
Thanks to you all. I believe the artist is correct. Graham had the more fancy font. I will fix the “D” and place a border as shown. Interesting discovery that my frame has two different location for center rivet. Either plate would match, depending on the space between words. Dodge has less letters than Graham.
stakeside
I have two possible nameplates and will proceed to have one made. #1 image #2 image I believe image #1 is best. The dimension are 16" x 2 1/16"

30DodgePanel
Sherman, I agree with Tom... I think the letters should all be the same size as in the artist illustration I posted above of the rear of a F30 model. I'll buy one if your going to start producing them. Let me know your price. I have a couple old sets, not very pristine but probably work for wall hangers.

These side hood plates are quite different then the end of frame plate. The fonts are similar but the “R” is different ton frame plate.
