Post Counter

First I will say that I dont need personal recognition, and I peruse the forum for personal satisfaction, not trying to impress anyone. I just recently noticed that there are monikers attached to user names for post counts. They dont seem to make any sense. Can someone explain the reasoning? Some say 100+ post, some are junior member, some senior member but they dont seem to correlate from user to user. I think I understand the one that is Past President, other than that pretty confusing.

Back before the forum update you could set the moniker to anything you wanted after you reached a certain post count.   As far as I can tell you can no longer mess with it.   I should have made mine "Super  Genius" when I had the chance.

It used to be based on how many posts you had, but it doesn’t seem to any more which is confusing. At one time I thought it was possible to change that ranking once you hit a certain number of posts, and there are a few people who have completely changed it to something personalized but I cannot figure out how...

 

I guess it is just one of those things that fell out of use?

@TAKerry et al, I'm still not finding a way to edit Rank (what is being referred to as "post counter" above) in the Content>Profile>Edit Profile but per a previous inquiry into it, it may still be updating....  I've just been being patient 😉

rank and titles are in the processing of being reset.  for some reason they are not following the settings.
