Where do I find 1/2 - 20 Right Hand thread Lug Nuts?

Recommended Posts

Um, any auto parts store?  1/2-20 RH is a very common lug nut. Dorman P/N 611-016, for example.

Now, if you really meant 1/2-20 LEFT HAND, those were used on Chryslers through at least the end of the 1960s. Dorman 611-026 is one.

Hint: Type 1/2 20 lh lug nuts into Google.

Were both sides LH?  Some had RH/LH depending on which side of the car/truck you were on.

Driver side was LH, passenger side was RH, typically. On my 62 Olds, even the driver side spindle nut is LH.

The 59-62 (maybe 63 and 64 as well, not sure) Pontiac’s had the reverse thread on the drivers side. I think it was a BOP thing. That played havoc with anyone working the lug nuts. Only the drivers rear has them now, front has been converted to disc brakes.
