JamesR Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 (edited) This auction makes me wonder: How many old car people are actually aware that altering a vehicle in intentionally conspicuous ways lowers it's value and generally makes it less salable? I would think most people are savvy enough to know this, but with the numbers of cars I see that are done up like this MG, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there are lots of people who are unaware. Of course, I'm not talking about model A hot rod roadsters that were built in 1951 or cars that are modified to a Chip Foose level of quality.
