John_S_in_Penna 3,675
A nice looking car! I was going to comment on how affordable the cars are from the 1970's, but then I noticed his high price. $12,500 for a car with 108,000 miles is more expensive than even a Lincoln would be. Thank you for sharing it. It should be available for a long time, and it will be interesting to see whether the price is greatly lowered over time. $4500, anyone? 2
JamesR 1,209
Quote 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis Hardtop This car car looks to have some of the quality that was entirely absent in my 1978 Mercury Zephyr way back when. (So that's where it went! ) I agree with John on the price, though.
jframe 224
Don't think that is a Windsor motor. Looks to be a 351M/400 to me. Nice car though.
Ed Luddy 670
I know where there is one of these with the fender skirts, 2 tone,460 loaded, 38,000 miles. Original paint, and owner always stored indoors for $7500

The picture above makes it appear so; the other pictures don't show it as clearly but don't seem to reveal any misalignment. What do others think?
GregLaR 2,721
Good eye John. I missed that. It certainly does look to be tweaked downwards.

The rear bumper appears to be tilted downward. There should be a markdown! Edited February 7 by 6T-FinSeeker (see edit history) 1

GregLaR 2,721
It's a nice car but there are a lot more popular choices for $12,500. Price can be the only reason this car hasn't sold.

That's in Canadian funds.
TG57Roadmaster 335
Interior suggests it's the base Marquis for 1978, not mid-level Grand Marquis. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/mercury/78mq/78mq.html
deac 160
WOW, what car from the 70's! Price high but it's still a great looking 70's Merc...
Ed Luddy 670
Just a touch smaller than a Lincoln Town Car.
