Guntis
I am with the Wayne Co Historical Museum in Richmond, Indiana and I have been handed the task of researching the automobiles that are in our collection. We have an auto that is "identified" as a 1907 Maxwell. It was given to us in the 1950's and it has always been represented as a 1907. I did a quick internet search on the model and number and it looks like it is probably a 1911..... We are 30 min. from New Castle and once again the car was identified as being manufactured in New Castle. Another quick search says they started building the plant in 1907 and didn't start production until 1908. I'm thinking the car came with some stories that are not true and I am trying to clear this up, so any help would be appreciated.
