vette-kid
My P2 has Mazda bulbs 55 and 63 for the interior. As best I can tell these are ba9 and ba15 bases. Can anyone confirm that or know of a cross reference? Or is 55 and 63 something different? I can't find much and I'm trying to replace all the bulbs. jpage
I f I'm not mistaken, you should be able to purchase those bulbs under the 55 and 63 numbers at any good auto parts store. They may also be available in LED on the internet. I think they are both single contact bulbs.
vette-kid
Well I admit I hadn't tried the auto parts store. They usually don't have what I need and no one there seems to understand that cars were around before the mid 50s. I couldn't find those on the internet, but they seem to be Ba9s and Ba15d bases just from measurements. I'm going with LED lights all around (except headlights) to lower current draw and eliminate excess heat. jpage
have you tried NAPA or an independent auto store? Companies like Advanced Auto are worthless for finding older parts.
certjeff1
55 and 63 are the two most popular 6v light bulbs. For best pricing go to rockauto.com. For leds try superbrightleds.com
