Guest
I think I've had all the children I plan to but I'd still want a better than average restraint system before straddling that verticle steering column.

CarNucopia
Looks like someone repurposed an old boat by flipping it upside down. Kinda cool, actually.
RBachman
Looks like a prop from a mid 60's James Bond knock-off movie.  Like there should be some evil villain guy stroking a cat while driving that thing.

To me an old Hydroplane boat on a 6 wheel trailer May be jetboat style propulsion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jetboat https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydroplane_(boat)
Studemax
Looks like something built by Randy Grubb, creator of the Blastolene Special and other custom creations.
JamesR
The hood ornament, wood construction, strange trailer and lighting in the indoor photos would lead me to believe it wasn't intended as something that was actually useful. Â Years ago, however, I did see smallish fully enclosed boats while visiting the Great Lakes area. I got the impression they were used as rescue vessels in really bad weather. Matt Harwood
I'd say it's a boat on a trailer--there's a tow bar linked to the front of it in the photos and the throttles are definitely boat. And there's no way that steering wheel can possibly be connected to any kind of automotive steering linkage, but a cable-operated boat rudder, sure. Â Whatever it is and however it drives, the guy who built it is a friggin' artist. TAKerry
Looks like a lot of craftsmanship went into it anyway. Â Reminds me of a vehicle that I saw auctioned last year. It was a lear jet fuelage sans wings, set up like a limo !
Guest
Attention to detail is very evidently there.  I would really like to know what it is though.
AURktman
Well, they certainly don't need the anti-submarine portion of a safety harness. Looks like a prop from the movie "The Rocketeer".
