The car in question does not have the crest reveals on the leading fender edges.

A 1931 Buick model 50 four-door sedan listed for $1,095, F.O.B. Flint, Michigan. Other Buick models hovered right around that price point- a few cost less, many cost a bit more. ALL of them a hefty price during The Depression!
