Question about an info source 1930 Buick

Recommended Posts

Has anyone seen or owned a copy of "Engineering Information - Buick 1930 Models"? I am considering buying a copy, but want to know more about what is in its 160 pages before I drop that kind of money on it.

Wow! Looks like some good information. Not sure if it would have enough special information to warrant the cost of the reproduction copy. It would be good if it had some nitty gritty measurements, etc., such as body measurements and the like.

You would be one of the first to know if I ever get around to those '29's. I seriously doubt it will be in my lifetime, considering how long this 30-61 is taking and the fact that they are at the other end of the country.

Bill,

Not to beat a dead horse, but would you know if these notes give specific body dimensions, i.e. width, height, length in various areas, not just overall?

I was just looking at your Buick-Marquette 1930 Fisher Body Manual on your site. That is the most informative body manual I have seen yet. It even tells what size screws to use in some cases.

Ernie:

I have never seen a full copy of the 1929 Engineering Info Manual so not sure what is all in it.  However, the index and number off pages in it on Kevin's website would indicate that there would be lots.

Which Buick-Marquette 1930 Fisher Body Manual are you referring to ?
