Ryan Crenshaw
1990 Reatta Convertible: Fuses are all good. The radio is working. No power to either the CD player or lighter socket. What's my 1st step? Thanks guys! Happy to join the forum! I picked up the Reatta from an Estate sale for $1500 and had a heck of a time getting registered. I promise to share that story. It had been left sitting, garaged, for 7 years. The belts, tires, oil, etc were in surprisingly good condition. It had a bad fuel pump and battery. Gonna have to drop the tank again because I'm not reading fuel level. Also, the dash console display turns on and off intermittently, reading only "error" with "electrical problems" for a few minutes and then functioning again. I'm not sure if this is bad contacts or a failing unit. Overall, I'm thrilled. I've always wanted a Reatta. And she's legal now! padgett
Easiest to check the lighter, should have both power and a ground. Which is missing ?
Barney Eaton
Since you are a new owner........ you may not be aware that most 1990-1993 Riviera (electracal) parts are the same as your car. Rivieras are easier to find in salvage yards so if you need a new instrument cluster, the Riviera is plug-n-play
