nzcarnerd
A photo taken in January 1930 at the Waitomo Hotel in New Zealand. Not very clear but maybe the car is identifiable?

I found an image of the same car in some of my Mother's family pictures, it looks the same to me. I had scanned it years ago and put the info from the back side on the scan. It most likely isn't the same car since they hadn't completed the bridge from the USA to New Zealand until long after WWII. Thanks. Looks to be 1928, the first year with four wheel brakes. Went back and sorted the typo in my post as well. That 1928 roadster is one of only 21 that were imported to NZ in '28. There were only nine imported in 1929 and no more after that. We have a '26 - which has two wheel brakes -
Douglas Gilmore Brown
Is that a Chevrolet banjo steering wheel on your 1926 Pontiac?

No it came out of the local car club parts shed. I think it is English - maybe Ford prefect or Morris Minor.
