Mark Kikta
I finally finished preserving these front fenders and have finally installed them. Likely the first time they have been on the car since the 1950's.
Mark Kikta
I also installed a set of headlights. Unfortunately after two years of searching I have still not been able to find a set of the right headlights for my car. I did find this pair of headlights that fit my car OK but they are the wrong ones. I plan to use these as a substitute until I do find the correct set. One problem I have is the original set has only one light bulb in them and that is what my wiring harness is made for. So these headlight connectors have only one contact in them. These temporary headlights have two bulbs in them and need a plug/connector like this except with two connectors in it. Wondering if any of you Buick collectors might have a spare set of connectors I could purchase made for headlights with two bulbs?
Terry Wiegand
Mark, You might check Restoration Supply catalog for those electrical connectors with dual contacts. Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas
michealbernal
Mark, you might check with Donald Axelrod,35 Timson St Lynn Ma., 781 598 0523. He deals in early headlights. He was able to provide parts for my 1928 headlights.
