Tallicat 1
Would like to have a working cassette player just because. Anybody know who repairs or has any that work?
padgett 2,050
What usually goes is the rubber belts. Bought some from Rodney Dickman but was a long time ago. OTOH Jim may have a complete working unit.
Tallicat 1
Yeah, understand it's the belts. I just don't have time to repair it. I did contact Jim and Marck but neither had a working unit.
DAVES89 835
There are a couple of listings of repair shops in the Reatta Resources tab just above this posting.
BrentS 1
I replaced my belts years ago.... and then a white plastic piece broke, and that's when I gave up on the cassette deck. I don't have a pic of it, unfortunately... but was not going to be easy to repair. Would have to machine or 3D print a replacement part.
padgett 2,050
Best use for a cassette is to add an AUX input.
