It's in Southern California... hardly ever sunny there, so obviously it would have been a long time to get sunny shots... 1
60FlatTop 6,385
For $9,000 they can't fix a flat or replace a tire? Is their margin that tight? I'm surprised the ad doesn't say "Don't waste my time". Why are people constantly doing things that make them look ignorant?
Centurion 482
And the car is NOT an Electra 225. It is a series 4700 "Electra" rather than a series 4800 "Electra 225".
60FlatTop 6,385
I call mine an "Electra 221".

lrlforfun 134
OK Buick People: Runnin' good, tranny ok with a drip here-n-there.....$2,000, maybe. Mitch
TOPCAT 88
A lot of things look strange under that hood......dual master ? Some other odd stuff.... Peace WildBill
buick man 438
Might be wrong but other than the optima battery looks all there and original. $ 2k no way ... more like $ 7,500 neighbor hood. A lot of original car here boys. I don't know depending on how the bottom tummy looks perhaps just do the interior with some tasty fitted seat covers, fast job on new door seals and welting, degrease the engine bay with non solvent citrus base cleaners as it would clean up nicely, hand rub that black lacquer and polish ... dash looks good with nice low worn brake pedal etc, then get in and drive it. Be a sharp car.
buickstan 0
I agree about the master cylinder brake system. I also notice the windshield washer container is missing on the firewall and the transmission fill tube is missing the dip stick. On the right fender, part of the insignia is missing too. Smartin 1,947
Engine compartment doesn't really look bad...but there are a few items that could be remedied. Dual master and booster No radiator fan cover/plate No washer tank Looks like some sort of push button ignition switch is wired in with a later model carb Firewall mounted coil I think with some TLC from someone who knows these cars, it will be a real sweetheart.
