Raymond G. York
In going thru my great uncle's things I ran across a Bill of Sales dated May 13, 1918, by Joseph Stein to Otto Miller (my great uncle) for a 1914 four passenger Crow Elkhart pleasure factory car # 5331 . If you own this car or know its whereabouts, I would gladly forward this document. Ray
John_S_in_Penna
Raymond, that's a generous offer. Someone would be thrilled to have the bill of sale from his 100-year-old car! If you don't hear from someone, please don't throw away this glimpse into history. You could donate it to the AACA Library in Hershey, Pa. so it's preserved forever. And a realistic look: What percentage of those cars still exist? If it's 1%, that means there's a 99% chance that that particular car is long gone. To other members: Is there a Crow-Elkhart registry? That would be the perfect way to check whether the car's still around. And if not, some other Crow-Elkhart owner might like to have the piece of memorabilia, and give you a few dollars for it too. All the best to you in your search!

It’s contents were sold several years ago and included several different Elkhart produced vehicles.
George K
I own a 1913 Crow Elkhart roadster #5786. Never came across any trace of a registry. Bonhams sold a 1912 Touring #5348. Very nice original car. Elcar & Pedal car museum had a 1912 touring no # listed. Brigham serial # book show 1912 #’s 5200-5600 and 1914 #’s 6000-6500. As previously mentioned survival rate is low. Pretty esoteric make but I sure like mine. Hope this helps. George

lump
Beautiful cars! As an aside, I have a radiator badge collection, and always wanted a Crow-Elkhart emblem to add to it. Does anyone possibly have a spare which could be sold or traded? By the way, Merry Christmas and/or happy holidays to all!
