I know, I know.......off topic 🤔, but a 1948 Triumph Roadster, needing a complete restoration, sold at auction here in Oz last month for the equivalent of about USD$15K.

Never had seen one before, now two in less than a month!

Very cool! I'm guessing no one over 5 feet tall could drive it, but what a nice car. That rumble seat windshield is the capper.

I noticed that as well, but I have never seen one of these and I think it is very cool.

4 in less than a month for Oztatman.  This one in CT in driver condition a regular at local shows.  Always loved the look of these but understand the power premium over an MG doesn't make up for the cool but heavier coachwork.  I am certain, if I were to get in the rumble or "dickey" seat, I would need help to be extracted.  Second windshield is cool.

 

I think that's all the money for the subject car.

Too new for my real interests, but interesting and I do like it. I am six foot even, however, if someone wanted to give it to me? I bet I could get in and out and drive it just fine! (I have always been that way with collector cars.)

Wow! I don't believe I've seen a Triumph roadster from this era before. Very stylish... Even cooler than the MG roadsters of that time, and those are very cool. Interesting that these don't seem to have the presence in the vintage import collector market that the TC's, TD's or XK-120's do. I'm wondering why they are, or were, so rare when they're that pretty. It's not like Triumph was a small flash-in-the-pan company.
