Dan O
How did the original rubber weatherstripping fit around the trunk? My sedanette has stripping just on the body and not all the way around the opening. I am figuring there was more and mine just fell off some time ago. What is there now just fills the channel across the top and drapes down the sides less than half way. I do not see any signs of it being on the lid. SBRMD
The rest of it does go in the lid. Steele has a look kit, you can see the pieces.
Elpad
I just did the trunk on my 50 tour back sedan from Steele. This is the diagram they sent.
Dan O
Thanks, guys! I have a grab-bag of Steele Rubber parts I bought on eBay years ago. It has provided both window seals, misc. plugs and wiring grommets so far but no instructions. Now I will know better what to look for.
