Buickneem
I'm looking to replace my clamshell headlight motor, and from what I gather i have two options. A refurbished motor. Or a custom motor made by Paul Duran in California. Has anyone had any experience with using Pauls motors? Or any recommendations as to which motor I should go with. Nima An original rebuilt motor is fine as long as the linkage is completely free to operate. There are conversions but by the time you buy them and get sorted out the cost will be much more than a rebuilt original as long as you have a good core. Even if you have no core to offer it`s probably still less expensive to go the route of a rebuilt original motor. I honestly suspect most people that go the conversion route do so because they dont understand the intricacies of the original setup. psychostang
Paul Duran passed on in July. I don't know ilf someone else is making the electronic motors now. I know the latest add I saw in the Riview states a price of $599.
