The seats in my original '61 Mercury have these on them (from the dealer when new), and seats are in great shape as a result, but the clear vinyl is cracking a little every time I sit down. Plus side is you dont need to pack the cheap collapsible picknik table for shows. Priced about right if the door panels didnt need repaired and the engine bay were detailed. Knock off 5K? Dad probably told him it was worth $45K and/or it was insured for that amount, but now seller just wants it gone. I agree that both items hurt the overall appearance of the car, but the continental kit looks like it could be removed and still use the existing rear bumper. The seat cover removal should not be that difficult. IMO a '58 Olds coupe with all of the chrome in nice condition is worth more than 20, but 25 might be the top end.
