drovak
Any idea what this is in my '31 8-86? I can't seem to find mention of it in the books, though the cutaways don't show the center of the engine from this side from best I can tell. And to my eyes, it doesn't appear original to the car, but I may be mistaken. As you can see, it sits behind the tappets and is located in the center of the engine. The water inlet runs right above it.
Robert Engle
It is a baffle to prevent oil splash from going out the Breather tube on the opposite side of the engine. Bob Engle
