Like most people, I only know my own car so I can tell you what it is NOT to — it is not to a 1918 4-cyl Buick.

Hopefully someone spots it and can identify it for us. I don’t know the correct terminology, but the top ‘spout’ which a flexible metal tube attaches to bringing hot exhaust from the manifold to the brass tube  that goes down to the bottom of the carb is perfectly perpendicular - so that tells this novice that it is older than 1918 - but probably not much older. 1916?

There’s a well known obscure auto parts dealer in the Midwest that has advertised a Marvel to a “1918 E-35” for the past 2+ years. It is NOT. Looks nothing like mine (pictured below) and I took the time more than 2 years ago to e-mail him with pictures of my carb and the original parts-book illustrations which detail it nicely.

Since the pompous jerk can’t be told anything because he knows all he’ll be keeping that carb for decades more.

C’mon, someone knows what this is to....
