pkhammer
A few hubcaps to identify. The S-S is maybe Sayers Scovill Hearse? Plymouth in the 4th photo? The one with wings almost looks like a medical symbol and then there's the spinner with a "V"? Any ideas?
keiser31
The one with the wings and wheel is from an Austin. The one with the red and yellow is from an Oldsmobile.

pkhammer
Thanks! Seems like Oldsmobile had several different symbols over the years, I guess most manufacturers did. It would make an interesting study.

pkhammer
Is that a collection, inventory or hoarding? Douglas Gilmore Brown
I've read that the styling of the VW Beetle was derived from the Airflow coupes. Your pictures seem to bear this out! Great car.

At the time I had over 700 hubcaps I was trying to get rid of. I did get some inquiries, but I was trying to find new homes for them so I didn't mind answering questions, better then throwing them away. Forum members were very helpful identifying the ones I didn't recognize which was very helpful. In any case, the vast majority of them are long gone now. Dave Mellor NJ
I'd say it's an imitation Pontiac hubcap but not 1935
Bloo
Those look like 1936 US Pontiac, They probably(?) wouldn't fit Canadian, and are definitely aftermarket. Copyright avoidance most likely drove the design. It should say Pontiac if original. I've also seen some aftermarket ones with a P and a string of other letters, mostly o's. EDIT: Here's @pkhammer's pic from a few posts back. Lettering would have been red originally.
