B Jake Moran
Says a couple of issues are all there is....then goes onto say many more items need attention. It needs brakes, exhaust, has had body work, drips oil, has rust...
JamesR
In my humble opinion, this car is a wee bit overpriced for it's condition. At least there are photos detailing some of the rust. On the positive side, the '63 Olds 88 coupe was the best looking full-sized car of GM's lineup for '63...though the Pontiac guys might argue with that. I even think it rivaled the Ford 63-1/2 Galaxie for best looking full-sized American coupe of '63, but then I had one of these 88's so I'm biased. Just a word of caution from my own experience: you really want to check the rust on that rear bumper: Unrusted rear bumpers for these cars are almost unobtainium. I paid a lot for my imperfect replacement rear bumper, and it actually had a tiny spot of rust through.
The 55er
Did the seller ever drive the car? It's gonna need tires too, looks like there are radials on the front and bias-plys on the rear. Many pictures but none of the of the engine or passenger side at all. It's missing the right rocker panel moulding, left rear wheel opening moulding & left extension moulding. Way overpriced IMO, car should be immaculate for that kind of money. All these issues! Otherwise a good car.
