In my opinion, the 1962 Dodge is the ugliest

American car I have ever seen.  There isn't a

congruent line on the entire body;  the front end

hasn't the slightest beauty;  the side moldings

at the front and rear are totally unrelated;  there's

a hop-up at the rear side window for no reason;

and the list goes on.

 

I certainly apologize if I'm insulting any fans.

But there's no question as to why sales were poor.

It's important to preserve history, and this is an

example to modern designers of what NOT to do!

They are funky but I have seen worse.  In this condition I wouldn't be ashamed to own and drive it.   I've found as cars like this get older,  and especially survive I can appreciate them.  Not like many other cars but still would garner a quick look.  A 42 Olds, I think it was a convertible,  has alot of funkiness going on but seeing probably a #1 condition one at Hershey maybe 5 years ago in the swapmeet one evening (not for sale) I gave it a look over.

We were given one of these as a loaner when we returned our 63 Dart back to the dealer. I can remember we took it to my cousins wedding and thinking it was a nice car. I'm a little older and wiser now. 

They are unique though.

My grandma had one of these when I was 15 or so.

I ran the crap outa that thing.

Wish I had one now. My grand son will be wanting a car before I know it.

A slant six car would be perfect.
