Dave Mellor NJ
Body looks the same as a 46-48 Chevy sedan delivery
The 55er
Since Pontiac didn't make a sedan delivery until 1949, IMO it's a Chevy sedan delivery with a 1948 Pontiac front clip on it.

dictator27
Canadian Pontiacs of this period used Chevrolet bodies with 6 cylinder Pontiac running gear. Sedan delivery probably not as common as the Chev.
yhmark
Vehicle is more or less complete. Missing outside mirrors, front bumper and passenger seat if it was sold with one. Not sure what to do with it, Restore? Customize? Part out? Sell as is?
The 55er
Series 22 Body Style Code 71 is a Canadian Pontiac sedan delivery and with 8 as the first digit it would be a 1948.
dictator27
This would be a relatively easy restoration. Except for the grille, hood and dashboard it is Chevrolet bodywise. Mechanically it uses the Pontiac flathead 6 which was the only engine available in Canadian Pontiacs until 1954.
J.H.Boland
That's a rare car worth restoring or preserving.

8E45E
Yes, the restored one is a '47. The subject sedan delivery is a '48. There are a few subtle differences between the two years. Craig
Turbinator
I like American GM 1950-1969 cars. The period 50-69 was when I was a boy and I enjoyed the cars. Today the cars are one color and look like tennis shoe. Turbinator
