The problem is the plastic filler either is sandblasted out or meted out in the oven. You can electrically charge a rubber balloon....🤔 I made my wrought iron railing for my house front steps in 2000, bought the pieces and welded it together. I primed it with DP40, PPG's epoxy primer and painted it with Deltron, PPG's single stage urethane. Same with my front door.
