Is this Edison Splitdorf unit a vintage set of points?

I only recently started my learning curve in early magnetos, most every part is available, and at very reasonable money. The box as a shelf talker is worth about the same as the points. Neat item.

An Edison Splitdorf "Dixie" 46 or 246. possibly more models as well. Edison bought out Splitdorf in 1929, so the box is after that. Wico bought out Edison Splitdorf in 1945-'46 so it pre-dates that.

The Dixie magneto in various forms  was around since the teens and was used on a myriad of applications and configurations- marine & stationary engines, tractors, automobiles, trucks, heavy equipment and aeroplanes!
