Jeff Perkins / Mn
I have always loved the lighted hood ornament on the Pontiacs. My father was a car salesman at Arrow (!) Pontiac on University Ave in St. Paul back in the late 50’s. Whenever he came home in a Pontiac with a lighted ornament we would go out after dark and he would take me for a short ride so I could see it. That is a very nice car for the $$. 6T-FinSeeker
Seller has also listed an auction on Ebay with a starting bid of $17,500. This appears to be a no-reserve auction. The 55er
This Pontiac looks great on the outside but IMO the interior is not as nice as the rest of the car. Top of the line Star Chiefs had leather seats in a different sportier two-tone pattern with buttons in them, lower-priced Chieftain seats may have been used instead. Carpeting should be the low-weave Daytona type, not nylon loop. The door panels shouldn't be two-toned and that shiny grille, louver or whatever it is near the front visible under the steering wheel shouldn't be there. Also the addition of a front bumper guard would help the appearance, with all the options the car has it looks a little bare up front without it. It's still a very pretty car and I hope it finds a new home.

Dale Tharp
Has anyone ever seen one of these vintage Pontiac cars wIth a speaker for the radio sitting on floor on the hump in middle, it had a thin fiberglass housing the same color as the interior of the car, the one Iam thinking of was turquoise, like the color of the Pontic in this article. The 55er
Yes, 1957 Pontiacs had the floor speakers on the hump under the dashboard.
