chris piazza
Can anyone tell me the length of a '35 Commander coupe drive shaft? Or, can anyone tell me how much forward and backward travel occurs along the drive shaft front spline end and the out put female end of the free wheeling unit while under normal driving conditions? Trying to keep a long story short. Thanks!
starlightcoupe
Commander Model 1B? The Chassis parts catalog for the eight cylinder cars would have the length used in every model. My catalog is only for Six Cylinder models. Edited November 16, 2020 by starlightcoupe (see edit history)
George Rohrbach
Drive shaft is 42 1/2" with tape measure at these places. How did you make out with my u joint info?
chris piazza
Thanks George, super helpful! Had to do a little grinding to get the u joints to fit properly, but they do! 4 hours ago, George Rohrbach said: Drive shaft is 42 1/2" with tape measure at these places.
