This rare model is an absolute gem. The '63 Mercury Monterey Breezeway. Cooler than cool.
The engine and body are in great condition, the interior is all original and dang near spotless. The rear windshield rolls down (hence "Breezeway"). Frankly, this car might be the coolest thing about me, so I kind of hate to give it up, but she needs to be shown off more than I have been. So my loss is your gain.

It's a nice looking car, and the "Breezeway"

rear window adds a lot of interest.  The price

is finally coming down.

 

The seller claims the interior is all original, but

I doubt she knew what it looked like originally.

I'm sure the interior is incorrectly done--with

comfortable but 1980's-style fabric--so the price

will need to come down quite a bit more.  Maybe to

$4000 or $5000?  Here's another picture from the ad:

Yup, don't believe that the interior is the same that this car left the factory with over 50 years ago. But it doesn't look too bad and the price is near to reality. I do agree with the seller in that this is a cool car.
