nzcarnerd
A photo posted on a facebook page. Taken in 1938. The car is a 1930 Buick 64C. There was a suggestion the trailer wheels were Chevrolet but Chevs only had four rim nuts.
edinmass
Looks like a commercially built axel and wheel from the era. There were many companies from 1931 picking up on the trailer and RV craze. Many of them had hydraulic brakes powered by a vacuum unit in the car. It was amazing what was available in the 30’s aftermarket..........mort than you can imagine.
keiser31
Possibly made by Disteel wheel company. Edited November 10, 2020 by keiser31 (see edit history)
sagefinds
They kind of look like stock 1930 and early 31 Chevy 1-ton truck wheels.
Hans1
6 center bolts, like Chev.
sagefinds
Here is a picture of one of those Chevy 1-ton wheels. Looks like the same critter, even has those three extra holes like in the original picture. I presume they are for three extra bolts and wedges for the heavy hauls.
