58L-Y8 2,118
Lovely '56 Chrysler with another one of those odd color combinations that show up in those years: white and turquoise with tan and black interior.

suchan 537
Agree it's a great car, and thanks to forum members like 6T-FinSeeker for re-posting here. Many of us wouldn't see the ads otherwise; some don't do Facebook; I joined briefly to pursue an ad and immediately found reason to un-join.

I'm wondering if Chrysler had a "Spring Special" Edition in 1956 like they had in 1955. My two door '55 had a very similar paint scheme using the same colors, and it was one of those limited edition cars.

Looking at the 1956 Chrysler brochure, this was optional two tone available on the Newport series., roof and insert same color, as seen on the 4 door Windsor also in this forum. The other was roof one color, body another color.

deac 160
Damn, that's a handsome car. The Chevy's and Ford's of the mid 50's suffocate how neat these cars look! We just don't see them nowadays.

Malo48 133
As it happens I just drove past this car. I'll be back that way tomorrow and will try to stop to take a look.
John S. 1,085
Such a nice Chrysler. Malo48, if you do stop tomorrow, please fill us in on the Newport. Thanks. John
suchan 537
Malo48, it'd be nice to see under the hood and the upholstery. If both are comparable with the photos shown, it's a fair asking price.
JamesR 1,209
I agree. Surprised the car's still for sale. As similar as it is, this is a cooler looking car than my '55, IMO. I think the '55 to '56 Chrysler styling change was one of the best facelifts ever.
