On 12/15, Seller reduced price to $15,500 / Best Link to Facebook ad: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/718363329061131/ Seller's Description: 1956 Chrysler Windsor Newport 2-Door Condition: Used - Good Just picked up this 1956 Chrysler Windsor Newport 56k miles.. purchased outside of Galena Illinois lady bought it in 1956 Sold back to the dealership 40 years later When her husband passed away where they left it inside They just drove it from time to time no rust engine gone through brakes totally refinished and refurbished with brand new tires can drive anywhere located in Galena Illinois. I'm wondering if Chrysler had a "Spring Special" Edition in 1956 like they had in 1955. Looking at the 1956 Chrysler brochure, this was optional two tone available on the Newport series., roof and insert same color, as seen on the 4 door Windsor also in this forum. 6T-FinSeeker 1,084 Posted January 5 Author Share Posted January 5 On 12/7, Seller created a second Facebook ad using different pictures: Link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/219052629672915/1956-Chrysler-Windsor Seller's Description: Up up for consideration 1956 Chrysler Windsor with 54,000 original miles here’s the cool story in 1956 this vehicle was purchased by a lady...her husband died 40 years ago she sold it back to the small dealership outside of Galena Illinois It sat inside for 40 years I bought it had the engine gone through, all new brake system pretty much everything re-done including brand new tires it has small rip on the interior seat paint from the chrome down on the white underneath the teal (if you want to make it mint) would have to be sanded to metal and repainted but absolutely no rust looking for $16,500/ best Vehicle is in dry storage in Galena Illinois 1 Link to post Share on other sites
