1970 Oldsmobile Oldsmobile 98 · Convertible · Driven 68,000 miles Original unmolested condition Red body with white interior and white convertible top 455 CI V8 Auto trans Factory a/c Factory cruise control Power Windows Power top Power front seat Power trunk release Dual exhaust Front disc brakes The car was shipped to Hawaii 25 years ago and has been safety checked and registered every year. Maintenance items (plugs, wires, coil, carburetor, mufflers, shocks, etc ) replaced as needed along with regular oil and filter changes. Exterior is a 9/10.

No I dont, but it would just be plain fun to go there for a long weekend under the excuse to check out a car 😄

Hey I hadn't thought of that! Good idea!

 

BTW, I'm aware that shipping is included in the price, but I was just curious what the seller was going to have to pay to make that happen. Though it may not the absolute best price ever, 15K seems like a decent price for a nice '70 Olds convertible even if it wasn't being shipped across the ocean. Maybe he has a brother who owns a freighter.

Similar in some ways to our former 1970 Cadillac convertible - nice but just maybe not quite as elegant?

Still, this 98 should be a dynamite cruiser, and $15K isn't a bad price IF the car is completely sound

We had 70 Buick Electra. What a highway car. The problem was gas started getting so bad that it was hard to get it to shut off without dieseling. Had to retard the timing.
