The box ends were open and the mud daubers thought they'd make a nice home. They look like a muffler from one end but the main bodies have a bunch of odd cut-outs. However written on one box is "1-526055" followed by "102150". Written on the other box is "1-530444" followed by "938872". Might these be part numbers.
