1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Convertible

Shows a very believable 51,334 miles. No Rust!. Factory Hemi V-8 with a 4 bbl and dual exhaust making 235 hp. Power Steering, Automatic, Radio, Heater, Power top and full Leather interior. The paint looks original, but it deserves a respray. One of 724 built. Stored indoors in the same building at Sebastopol since 1975. A 1957 California registration shows a Hollywood address, registered on JTF 363 which was probably the original yellow plate. On March 30, 1959, the registration shows the owner was Stanley White in Forestville, CA. The 1961 Registration shows the license plate was changed to the Black California plates DTG 174 that are still on the car. May 1975 documents show the last owner purchased the car and titled it in his name at the same address where we bought it a few weeks ago. The engine starts easily, does not overheat, smoke, leak or make any unusual noises, the transmission shifts properly, is quiet and does not leak fluid. The brakes work, but I’d strongly suggest the buyer do a complete brake job before driving the car. The rear axle does not make any unusual noises. Terrible old mismatched 15” bias ply tires hold the car off the ground with 1975 or older air.   The door panels are excellent, the rear seat is very good but needs a line of restitching under the bottom.  The front seat cushion leather needs to be replaced, and the backrests need a little restitching in the upper corners. There are three NOS rubber floormats included. Most trim parts are included and a parts car is available if there is something missing. Please contact us for an accurate and honest description, and more photos if you have a realistic interest in purchasing the car.,IMG_4119.thumb.jpg.89866c3c7abeb96aa6c81a5719967043.jpgIMG_4074.jpg.732d8d4fa6c5aa68e4ef027329b5a22d.jpg

very interesting car to me as i have a 54 windsor convertible. they only made 500 of the windsor conv. in 54. these cars are easy to work on and well engineered. they drive really nice. mine is original with 79,000 miles on it. i drive it alot. i hope this goes to a person that appreciates the rarity and the quality of the car. too many will rip out the hemi and junk the rest. i have owned about 6 of these over time and i love the one i have now. it is always the only one at any car show.   dennis

sorry to se no interest yet. not a popular car. needs alot of money, like any restoration. i have an owners manual for this car if interested. i would like to trade it for the trunk light socket off your parts car.i also need the speedometer cable. those are parts that nobody will ever ask you for any way. however, trade aside you can have the manual anyway as it will be better off in that car if someone is going to put it back on the road.   dennis       captdennis29@gmail.com
