Hey guys........since getting the compressor & blast cabinet fired up, I've cleaned up some very rusty parts today. The bummper supports & bolts look new now. That Star-blast stuff from Dupont @ 100psi does wonders! I'm going to prime the supports, but what in the heck do you use on the nuts, bolts and washers to keep them looking good?

I have been home plating the special bolts and gizmos (ones that I can't replace with new). Eastwood sells a very inexpensive zinc kit, that I have been using for over a year. I used it so much, that I just had to buy a new electrode.

How will it hold up over time? I suspect pretty good. Sure makes stuff look nice, and you can make it come out dull, flat or shiney. It uses a battery as power.

Brian, I would like to hear more about your time at Avanti.
