A Classic rust-free 1963 Ford Thunderbird needs a little TLC. It has rebuilt 390 and transmission in 2011, needs interior. 20,000 miles on the motor. The body is in good condition, it has replaced glass. Replaced vinyl top. It was repainted about 6 years ago. The car runs well.
Great project to cruise around and a great everyday driver.

Great color!

I agree, Greg.  I don't remember seeing ANY 1961-63

Thunderbird in that color.  Far too many are red or white.

And the all-important phone number, copied from the ad, is:

"Contact name:  Francesca

(five hundred twenty area code) 990-2041"

The price looks like it's been dropped another thousand bucks to $7000. If it's been in AZ most of it's life and is as good as the ad makes it seem, it would be a very good deal, IMO. Those  early iconic 4-seater T-Birds usually are very good deals, though. Almost makes me feel bad about owning my '65; I have as much money (or more) in mine...and it hasn't been painted yet.

Don't feel bad.  I have more in my '63 as well, and it also has an old paint job and the air doesn't work yet.  This seems like a good deal, but the buyer will end up dumping money into it, just like most of us do.  :)

What the heck?   I have never seen an engine compartment in a 63 TBird I guess.   It looks shoe horned in there.  From any angle.  How would a person get it out and why did they do it this way?

I never really looked at this era of TBird but it checks a lot of boxes.  Ford did a good job with the four place TBirds in my opinion - until the late 60's.
