Pete Phillips
1950s and 1960s Cadillacs and Buicks. Crushing begins on Thursday. Very upsetting to see what will be lost. $250 to $300 per car if you can get there by Thursday. 1

Kosage Chavis
How are you Mr Pete? Are any of the 54/55 Buicks equipped with A/C? Still trying to get a hold of one or more of those pointer knobs. Thank you.
Fr. Buick
You can also get the same knob off the rear speaker switch, assuming it is not after-market.

One is a '55 Century 4-dr. sedan nearly complete car; one is a very cut up '55 Century 2-dr. hardtop, and one is a '54 Roadmaster 2-dr. hardtop.

Kosage Chavis
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question Mr Pete. Any chance any of those 55's has the rear speaker switch with the same type of pointer knob?

Rusty Heaps
Do you have any contact info for the junkyard? I need the driver side door from the ‘53 Special, and probably the lower rear quarter panel.
Rusty Heaps
Is there anyone in the vicinity that could grab the driver side door from the ‘53 Special and ship it? If it’s not too late. Barney Eaton
Pete lives roughly 130 miles from Longview (2 1/2 hours because there is no straight shot) So it is unlikely he would be able to answer your question.
Rusty Heaps
I hadn’t figured Pete could, but had hoped that someone was close enough to grab it.
Pete Phillips
Everything is gone. All of the remaining cars got crushed last month, a few days after I made the original posting. I saved as much as I could bring home in one pickup & trailer load. The property had to be cleared because it is being sold this month, and the seller/owner is in very bad health.
