Freund Container and Supply Co . has cans that are similar  , cheap  . You need to add connector to bottom and a vented lid . Some time eBay has ink cans antiques that match also . Just watch lid sizes .

Between your post mentioning Freund and this one I poked around their website. I don’t recall what the remote reservoir cans for the early Chrysler built cars look like, but they do have cans. For example: https://www.berlinpackaging.com/steel-flat-top-cans-w-cap/

Thanks they look like the goods Just have to work out which size I need and order one

I just installed a couple of these on a hot rod project wher the master cylinder is under the floor and not accessible.

I did not order thru Speedway however as Summit was cheaper but had to buy all the parts individually.

Speedway has some real nice looking reservoirs on polished aluminum that will allow you to spend a lot of money on any "hoopty"
